OPENING FAMILY PLEDGE
We, the descendants of Nancy Bellinger, of Barnwell County, South Carolina, have assembled ourselves in this place to honor and sustain our precious family legacy.
We treasure our family’s presence, and we value the significant impact made for us and on us.
We will allow God to guide us in our interactions and communications to be loving and supportive of one another.
We will let these proceedings serve to strengthen our connections, one to another, to enrich our individual lives, and to glorify God.
Leviticus 25:10 (NLT) - Set this year apart as holy, a time to proclaim freedom throughout the land for all who live there. It will be a jubilee year for you, when each of you may return to the land that belonged to your ancestors and return to your own clan.
CLOSING FAMILY PLEDGE
As we, the descendants of Nancy Bellinger, prepare to depart to our separate households, we give thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing us to assemble as a family.
We affirm to let go of all concerns and let God renew our lives. We also affirm to let go of doubt and rely on God’s wisdom to direct us to our good. Our thoughts of abundance, health, and peace prepare us for a harvest of good.
We ask the Lord to dispatch His angels of protection for traveling grace and mercy to keep us safe on railways, highways, seaways, and airways as we return home.
Psalm 48:13-14 (NIV) - 13 Consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation. 14 For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.
